You are classy compared to any of what I have met thru the Real Estate world. True Phil deals with most and just sits there and listens but with me, I have to be real comfortable to know if it's a go or a wait a minute. Your honesty and your genuine like of people seems to bring everyone together with that comfortable zone that one can work with. Our house had been on the market for 5 months with another realty company and we had not even received an offer- nothing even ridiculously low. We had no real contact with our realtor except to let us know that everyone who saw the house "hated it" or was "very dissapointed" or had similiar comments.
We heard by word of mouth that Deb Hamilton was the one to contact if we wanted the "best in the business". We contacted Deb and guess what- we sure think she is the best in the business!
On our very first meeting, she told us squarely what was wrong with the house and what need to be done to sell it. We listed our home with Deb Hamilton, RE/MAX on the River, in 2004. Deb’s knowledge of the total real estate market in the North Shore area from market value to qualifying and showing our home to potential buyers resulted in not one, but two offers on the same day, with the second offer a little over our asking price to assure we would select that offer. An expedited closing resulted in a final closing less than 30 days from the date of the Sales Offer and Purchase Agreement.
In order to obtain an acceptable Sale and Purchase Agreement in the current North Shore marketplace and at the listed price for our home at over $725,000, Deb had to go the extra mile to find qualified buyers. She used all of her knowledge and experience in both real estate and the North Shore local area, along with her extensive sales ability to accomplish the task successfully. She developed a wonderful web site Virtual Tour of our home incorporated within her web site, and also included it in the national Re/Max web site for national exposure. She updated it as and when appropriate with new photos. She never took the easy way out and never recommended a price reduction. Deb’s sales style is professional and not pushy, as some realtors tend to be. After we located out of the state and left the home empty Deb went out of her way to make sure she arrived at the house early for open house and/or showings and made sure the home was in tip top shape and all plumbing, electrical, appliances, and lights were in working order. From the first day she quickly learned the main selling points of our house and made sure every potential buyer understood these points. Deb also followed through with the details required to assure we went down the right path from sales offer to sales contract, to the closing without any glitches.

Deborah Hamilton was the listing broker for my previous residence on 3 Marshall Drive as well as the listing broker on the property I recently purchased at 2 Church Street in West Newbury, Massachusetts. Deborah Hamilton acted as our buyer’s agent for a recent land purchase on Plum Island. We wished to purchase the lot abutting our existing property. Over the years, we had made a few attempts to contact the owner and negotiate a sale but without any success.
